How to make money doing what you like.

My mother loves me!
In life we are always learning how to fit into society. Having strong family ties makes adaption to the church and then to the larger community easier. The problem is not long into life we realize that it is only our mother who really cares for us; and the farther we wander the more we find people who don't have our best interests at heart.
Who really cares?
Growing up involves learning where and how to draw the line. We want to be able to help others, but not allow them to hurt us. Being able to judge between potential positive influences and negative influences in our life is quite complicated. Even more so when we don't understand the technologies that we use to interact with others. This is where I come in.

Should we trust Facebook?
Facebook came in like your mother, warm and fuzzy, introducing you to family and then friends. Not emphasizing that they were using you as their profit guinea pig. So now the relationship we have with Facebook is a lot like a teenager has with their parent. And the more time Facebook changes the rules the more we are bewildered, should we trust our mother Facebook. Will we really receive the inheritance this Facebook mother is offering us? Or will they just keep on receiving $10 a year for us and we just receive promises of comfort?

Can a relationship with Google benefit us?
Google+ on the other hand doesn't promise you comfort it provides you with hard cold cash. Two cents per CPM (cost per one thousand impressions) doesn't sound like a lot until you realize that most of us have influence over 500 people. So in other words every thought you have is worth a minimum of two cents per post. On a post like this I will make $5 but that is because I have an editor who makes it readable. So let's let go of our mother's skirt and find relationships that are profitable.
